Get up high where possible and enjoy views of the cities many domes, towers and minarets which stretch into the clear blue skies.

Wander around the markets and stalls of the bazaar, the largest in Egypt and try and bag a bargain. Here the air is scented with the rich smells of coffee and spices and the fragrance of jasmine and lavender perfumes. Come here and pick up a trinket, some gold or some perfume, just remember to haggle. With its unique culture and history a trip to Cairo is one of the places that you must visit.

Hurghada is one of the premier destinations in the world for diving and snorkelling. With great coral reefs an abundance of fish and shipwrecks it is little wonder why people flock here every year.

Come to Hurghada with the family and be spoilt in fully inclusive resorts which have their own beaches, theatres, bars and discos or set up base at a choice of hotels. The once sleepy fishing town of Hurghada is now one of the busiest tourist destinations in Egypt. El Dahar, which is the old part of Hurghada, has traditional shops and an Egyptian bazaar. Here there are plenty of bargains to be had from sheesha pipes and papyrus to mother of pearl and alabaster. As a rule the prices here are lower than the tourist shops but don’t forget to haggle for a better deal.

With a great nightlife Hurghada is slowly getting a reputation as a party destination. Here the entertainment is varied with pubs and clubs, trendy lounges and beach barbecues. Whether you are into dance music, belly dancing, foam parties or karaoke, Hurghada offers it all. Start the evening off in one of the local Egyptian restaurants in the old town or enjoy international cuisine from the multitude of restaurants before moving onto the pubs and clubs.

After a hectic night of belly dancing and karaoke unwind with a round of golf or simply lie on the beach and enjoy the summer sun.
